Medical Realities

Description

During my time at Amplified Robot I was tasked with helping develop an application called Medical Realities. The application is built for mobile VR, but can also be used in non-VR mode. The aim of the application is to tutor medical students in specialised fields and allow them to view real operations in VR. Other training material is then built around the operation, such as dictations, presentation slides and 3D models of what is happening in the operation. I was tasked to find creative ways to display information in a user friendly VR environment and to develop programs for the more advanced headset which would advance the training.
